Sloans started life as a coffee house back in 1797, fast forward over 200 years later and Sloans is now a Glasgow institution, famous for our legendary Mac 'n' Cheese, fantastic events, beautiful courtyard & gorgeous weddings in our Grand Ballroom!

Being a Candid Photographer I look for the moments, honest laid back couples book me because they don't want the traditional wedding photographer. Read about my style here.

Charlotte & Mark booked my full day package, starting from the morning bridal prep.

The morning was full of laughter, a very relaxed environment. The morning is always full of nerves and preparation for the day ahead. I always suggest an hour at the bridal prep, this allows me to capture plenty of reactions & activity.

The rest of the day was held within Sloans in Glasgow. Norrie Flowers a celebrant from the Independent Humanist Ceremonies. conducted the ceremony, a very entertaining, fun experience. The rain never stopped all day not even for a second to capture some photographs outside. Sloans is lucky enough to have plenty of beautiful locations inside, full of character. A drinks reception (straight after the ceremony) is one of my favourite parts at a wedding, people are full of excitement. I am there to capture those smiles and tears. Giving you time to soak up the attention and relax after the ceremony. Before you know it the venue will call everyone for dinner.

Charlotte & Mark's was just that, slick and elegant. The guests were excited to hear the speeches and eat their meal, let's face it it's been a long day. Carbon Copy were chosen to entertain everyone during the reception, they didn't disappoint. What a party!

I am lucky enough to have couples who have confidence in me, trusting that I will capture the real, meaningful moments. Charlotte & Mark were no different, with a laid back attitude there is no stress for either of us. No stress means better photographs. Weddings are joyful occasions full of love, you will be surrounded by the most important people in your life. My style allows that to be enjoyed, because who wants an annoying intruder at your wedding.
